Corrosion-Resistant Butterfly Valve | PTFE and PFA Liner | Large Diameter Acids and Alkalis
The anti-corrosive butterfly valve with PTFE or PFA lining combines the economic advantage of butterfly valves in large diameters—lower cost, lower weight, and lower pressure drop than an equivalent ball valve—with the chemical resistance of fluoropolymer, which completely protects the metallic body from contact with aggressive fluids. It is the standard solution for isolating and controlling diluted and moderate acids, alkalis, saline solutions, and corrosive fluids in lines from DN50 to DN400 where fluid volume and diameter make an anti-corrosive ball valve of the same size economically unfeasible. At Cematic, we supply anti-corrosive butterfly valves with cast iron and carbon steel bodies, with a peripheral PTFE liner, manual or with pneumatic or electric actuators, with stock available in Mexico.
